Omnium Supercargo. Copenhagen meets Milan, on a cargo bike.

Collaboration · Limited Edition · Cargo

Two cities.
One bike.

We built a cargo bike with Omnium. It carries 75kg on the front rack and looks like an Olympic track bike. Make of that what you will.

Omnium builds cargo bikes for people who ride for a living. We build bikes that belong in a museum, allegedly. Somewhere in between is the Supercargo, and honestly it works better than either of us expected.

120 frames, Columbus and Omnium tubing, Azzurro Laser colorway straight from the Cinelli archives. First time Columbus has ever gone on an Omnium. Each frame numbered. Yes, like a painting. You can also ride a painting (this one).

"It's a mashup of Omnium's functionality and ruggedness blended with Cinelli's Milanese design language, all driven by our shared passion and love for the global messenger community."

Victor Luis, Chairman, Cinelli

Built for the job

Omnium started in Copenhagen in 2012. Danish courier Jimmi Bargisen, bikes for people who ride for a living. They've won the Cycle Messenger World Championships twice. They know what the third floor without a buzzer feels like.

We brought seventy years of Milanese steel and the Cinelli x MASH legacy. They brought the cargo geometry. SRAM Apex drivetrain, 75kg front rack capacity, 175kg total load. It rides like a bike. It also poses outside a café extremely well, for the record.

"Working with a benchmark brand as Cinelli undoubtedly is, has been amazing. Combining our aesthetics and culture has been a great start to a hopefully long-lasting relationship."

Matias Ovens, CEO, Omnium

The details

The logo merges Cinelli's winged C with Omnium's upside-down U. It took a while. Custom Columbus x Omnium tube label on the frame, Cinelli Volare saddle, silver hardware throughout. Your clients will notice.

Azzurro Laser is the colorway that won medals on the Cinelli Laser track bike. On a cargo bike hauling someone's dry cleaning, it hits different. That's a feature.

Supercargo Couriers

The merch is the uniform of a fictional courier company operating between Copenhagen and Milan. Supercargo Couriers. No LinkedIn. Very established.

Cap, tees, socks, water bottle, and a messenger bag built with Bagaboo: CORDURA outer, truck tarpaulin inner, YKK hardware, 25 litres. The Supercargo Couriers patch on the flap is embroidered. Everything else is printed. One thing gets to be special.

The whole thing launches at the Cycle Messenger World Championships 2026, in Milan. We're sponsors. Seemed like the right crowd to show up to with a cargo bike painted like a track bike.

"The timing couldn't have been better, being able to launch during CMWC, which we usually take part in, and then in Milan. It just makes sense."

Matias Ovens, CEO, Omnium
