Bráulio Amado is a graphic designer and illustrator from Portugal, currently living in New York City. His vibrant, kinetic work has appeared in the New York Times, Businessweek, WIRED, and more, and he’s collaborated with artists including Beck, Frank Ocean, Róisín Murphy, and Robyn and presitigious streetwear brands including Brain Dead, amongst others.

For his collaboration with Cinelli, Amado drew inspiration from a kaleidoscopic range of iconic graphic elements from our 75-year history - from heraldic logo details to hand-drawn sketches for 1990s advertisements to 1970s Supercorsa decals – reinterpreting them through his own distinctive artistic lens. The resulting patterns and icons have been applied both to our iconic cycling cap and a t-shirt.
