Cinelli x Nitro:我們的初次相遇
How We First Met
Cinelli and Nitro Snowboards meet for an ice cream — and end up creating their own flavour together. The story behind the Zydeco collaboration, told by Atelier‑FFF’s Fabian F. Fuchs.

MilanoThe first walk
My first connection with Cinelli actually came through Nitro Snowboards. Andi and Luca approached me with the idea of creating a collaboration between both brands and asked me to develop the creative direction, the story and the visual world that could bring them together in a way that felt genuine.
A few weeks later, I found myself walking through the Cinelli factory and archives in Milano. Surrounded by decades of frames, iconic paint finishes and objects that had shaped cycling culture, the responsibility suddenly felt very real. You don’t walk into a place like that thinking about how to make something louder. You start asking what deserves to become part of that story.
The easy version of a collaboration is placing two logos on the same product. End of story. The interesting version is creating a third identity — something neither brand could have made on its own.
The conceptFruits of our imagination
From here on, every element of the collaboration became part of a larger picture — each piece adding another layer to the story. The bike, the snowboard, the apparel, the photography and even the launch strategy all became part of the same story.
Piazza Duomo, MilanoI imagined the collaboration as if Cinelli and Nitro had met for an ice cream and ended up creating their own flavour together — fruits of our imagination. That playful thought found its way into the smallest details, from hidden illustrations to the idea of the ice cream ride itself, while the shimmering, almost glacial paint became the shared reference point across both objects. Cinelli trusted us with the iconic shimmering Supercorsa paint, while Nitro worked to translate that finish onto a snowboard.
The detailSeek & Enjoy
The whole collection grew around one simple idea: Seek & Enjoy. It borrowed its form from Nitro’s iconic Seek & Destroy target graphic, but shifted its meaning. Hidden in plain sight for those who know where to look.
Seek & Enjoy — hidden in plain sightThe next chapterThe Zydeco
For me, when it came to continuing the collaboration, the Zydeco felt like the natural next chapter. It’s just as comfortable leaving the city behind as it is weaving back through it. It turns the ride from the city into nature into a continuous line rather than a decision.
From city to nature, one continuous lineThe best days on a bike or a snowboard aren’t really planned or defined by performance. They’re the rides that take longer than expected, the spring slush session that feels like winter’s last breath, the unplanned stop for an ice cream, the road you only took because no one wanted to turn around.

seek & enjoy.
